Vineyards

JP Marniquet farms seven hectares of biodynamically grown vines on the chalky slopes of the Marne’s right bank 10 km west of Epernay. Venteuil is famous for producing the finest Pinot Meunier in Champagne and it is no surprise that this forms the backbone of Champagne Chaîne d’Étoiles.

Winemaking Philosophy

The Champagne Chaîne d’Étoiles NV is modern and refined Champagne created from 50% Pinot Meunier, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir. The wine is vinified without the influence of oak and malolactic fermentation is prevented to maximise fruit purity and finesse. Following three years maturation in bottle the wine is disgorged and prepared with a dosage of 5g/l.
